Publication and verification

Publication approval checks whether a complete, factual listing is suitable to show founders. A supplier cannot publish itself.

Verification is a separate, dated evidence decision. It does not mean regulatory approval, a quality guarantee or endorsement of every service.

Review expectations

Know what happens next.

We aim to acknowledge a complete publication request within two working days and make an initial decision within five. Evidence checks can take longer if information is missing or needs direct confirmation.

Evidence normally requested

  • Evidence that the business exists and that you are authorised to represent it
  • A working website or other reliable customer contact route
  • Evidence for professional memberships, qualifications or insurance you choose to claim
  • Any sector-specific registration needed for the services you advertise

Evidence is private. Founders see only the claims you publish and the narrow result of any completed verification check.

After the free year

Before the introductory period ends, we will remind you and ask you to choose £79 a year or £7.99 a month under a 12-month paid term. We will not take payment or store card details unless you actively choose a plan, accept the paid terms and complete secure checkout. If you do not renew, your listing may stop appearing publicly, but you will not be charged automatically.

Commercially honest

My Business Path does not guarantee leads, enquiries, sales or a minimum number of clicks. There is no paid ranking. Publication may be refused, paused or removed where evidence is incomplete, claims are misleading, or platform standards are not met.
