These terms explain how you may use My Business Path and the responsibilities that come with an account.
About us
My Business Path is a trading service operated by Mac-Man Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13986826. Our registered office is 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. You can contact us at support@mybusinesspath.co.uk.
1. What the service provides
My Business Path provides general educational information, planning tools, reminders, community features and routes to independent suppliers. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial or other regulated advice, and it does not file or register anything on your behalf unless a separate service expressly says so.
2. Your account and saved businesses
Keep your email and account access secure and make sure information you enter is accurate. Only invite people who are authorised to work on the business. Business owners and administrators are responsible for who has access and for the decisions recorded in My Business Path.
3. Guidance and decisions
The roadmap highlights common actions based on the information you provide, but it cannot cover every fact or legal requirement. Check linked official sources and obtain suitable professional advice where a decision depends on your circumstances. You remain responsible for business decisions, deadlines, filings and compliance.
4. Community and marketplace
Do not post unlawful, abusive, misleading, confidential or undisclosed promotional content. Suppliers are independent businesses responsible for their own descriptions, advice, contracts and services. Publication or verification does not guarantee quality, suitability or results. Reporting, moderation, suspension and appeal controls may be used to protect users.
5. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to bypass access controls, scrape private information, disrupt the service, impersonate another person, upload malicious material or use My Business Path to mislead, harass or unlawfully market to others. We may restrict access while suspected misuse or security risks are investigated.
6. External services
Links to government services, banks, software providers and other third parties are provided for convenience and context. Their terms, availability and decisions are outside our control. Some provider links may earn My Business Path a payment, as explained in the affiliate disclosure. Commission and supplier listing fees do not change editorial guidance, verification or ranking.
7. Availability and responsibility
We take reasonable care to keep the service useful and secure, but we cannot promise uninterrupted access or a particular business result. Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded. Back up any information you must retain independently for business, tax or legal purposes.
8. Changes, account closure and contact
You may stop using the service and request account closure through your settings. Shared-company, security and governance records may need to be resolved or retained.
