Founding supplier terms
These terms govern the free My Business Path founding-supplier programme. They explain publication, verification, founder introductions and what happens before any paid plan can begin.
1. The programme
The programme gives an eligible UK supplier a marketplace account and, if approved, a founder-facing listing for an introductory 12-month period. Creating an account does not guarantee publication, verification, prominence, enquiries or sales.
2. Your free period
The introductory period starts when your supplier profile is created. No payment card is requested and no fee is collected during that period. Verification and publication standards continue to apply throughout it.
3. After the free period
Before the free period ends, we will remind you and show the renewal options available to you. Our standard supplier prices are £79 a year or £7.99 a month under a 12-month term. You will not become a paying customer merely because the free period ends: you must choose a plan, accept the paid terms and complete checkout. If you do not renew, your listing may stop appearing publicly.
4. Accurate supplier information
You must be authorised to represent the business and keep its name, services, locations, contact route, credentials and availability accurate. You must promptly correct or remove claims that become incomplete, expired or misleading.
5. Publication approval
Publication is an editorial and safety decision about whether a factual listing is suitable to show founders. My Business Path may request changes, refuse publication, hide or suspend a listing where information is incomplete, evidence is missing, risk is identified or these terms are not followed. Suppliers cannot publish themselves.
6. Verification is separate
A verification badge records a narrow, dated evidence check under the current verification policy. It is not regulatory approval, a financial-soundness assessment, a quality guarantee or an endorsement of every service. Verification may expire, be suspended or require further evidence independently of listing publication.
7. Founder interest and briefs
The supplier account may show aggregate profile clicks, enquiries and founder briefs. Browsing does not reveal a founder's identity. A brief contains only information the founder has approved for sharing, and you must use it only to respond to that request and meet applicable privacy law.
8. No guaranteed leads or paid ranking
My Business Path does not promise traffic, leads, conversion, revenue or any minimum number of introductions. Paying for a listing will not buy a verification decision or a higher search position. Ordering may consider relevance, service coverage, profile quality, availability and other clearly governed factors.
9. Your conduct
You must communicate lawfully and professionally, protect founder information, avoid pressure selling, disclose relevant commercial relationships and provide only services you are competent and permitted to deliver. You remain responsible for your advice, contracts, pricing, taxes, insurance and regulatory duties.
10. Visibility and leaving
You can unpublish your approved listing from the supplier account. My Business Path may preserve governance, evidence and decision records for legal, security and audit purposes in line with its retention rules. Account deletion does not require removal of records that must lawfully be retained.
11. Platform availability and responsibility
We aim to operate the platform with reasonable skill and care, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or business results. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Each supplier remains independent and is not an employee, agent or endorsed partner of My Business Path.
12. Changes and contact
Material changes will be dated and presented for acceptance where appropriate. Paid service terms will always be shown separately before checkout. Questions, evidence updates or publication concerns can be sent through the private supplier message area.
